I coordinate donations at the Harmony Primary School in San Diego. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in San Diego, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Primary School on Tuesday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Best of luck, Lincoln. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out
Best of luck, Lincoln. Hope you get there. Thinking of San Diego.
Thinking of you, Lincoln. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My neighbor in Petrópolis donated after I showed her your page.
