Sumon was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at the Jessore Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Sumon is 45, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Jessore Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
