Fighting Hodgkin lymphoma: help Rose afford treatment in Manila
Rose is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇵🇭 Philippines1,587 views
Rose was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in April. The oncology team at the Manila Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Rose is 30, worked as a taxi driver until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Manila Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $780
• Scans and lab work: $180
• Transport to the Manila Oncology Institute: $155
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $140
• Household costs while unable to work: $195
Every share and every dollar helps.

Wishing you peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Springfield.
Stay strong, Erica. Hope this works out for you. Take care.
rooting for you. Shared this with my family. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless!
Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 22 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Manila.
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Manila.
