Wesley, 81, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $3,650 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 81. After a stroke last January Wesley can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Wesley desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Wesley worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $360
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $570
• Part-time carer (four months): $2,720
