I served ten years in the army and was discharged in 2025 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $850.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $850 goes:
• Training provider fees: $540
• Housing deposit and first month: $135
• Transport to appointments: $80
• Essential household items: $95
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Aadhya
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. training provider fees is the biggest at $540. Fair thing to want to know.
Looking forward to the next update. Love from Södertälje.

Thinking of you and your family, Aadhya. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Istanbul.
