Fighting colon cancer: help Waylon afford treatment in London
10 rounds of treatment are planned at the London Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Waylon was diagnosed with colon cancer in May. The oncology team at the London Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Waylon is 56, worked as a tailor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the London Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $4,850 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $660
• Transport to the London Oncology Institute: $1,050
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,140
