A day in the garden: help Sandeep in Riverside
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Sandeep's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Riverside for 25 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

Sending strength, Sandeep. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope November is when things finally get easier. All the best
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Love from Burnaby
Hope the doctors have good news. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Shared this with my family. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best!
Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Monterrey.
