Fighting colon cancer: help Greyson afford treatment in San Diego
Greyson is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States951 views
Greyson was diagnosed with colon cancer in March. The oncology team at the San Diego Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Greyson is 50, worked as a tailor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the San Diego Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Transport to the San Diego Oncology Institute: $430
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,200
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $320
Thank you for reading my story.

Is transport to the San Diego Oncology Institute the biggest cost or is there more coming?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. transport to the San Diego Oncology Institute comes first ($430) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Ask me anything else.
Get well soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Wollongong!
Thinking of you and your family. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Take care, Annabelle. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
sending strength. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side
is there anything that isn't money that would help Greyson?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about transport to the San Diego Oncology Institute, advice is welcome too. Fair thing to want to know.
Hang in there. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Take care
