Neema is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Kinondoni Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Neema can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Neema has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Neema would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Neema isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kinondoni Community College bursar's office.
