Fighting cervical cancer: help Aarti afford treatment in Warangal
Aarti is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In May I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. My oncology team at Warangal Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in August. I was told to expect about 10 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 31, I worked as a nurse until May, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Warangal Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100
• Scans and lab work: $105
• Transport to Warangal Regional Medical Center: $100
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $95
• Household costs while unable to work: $150
I hope life is good to you.
