Fighting a rare sarcoma: help Ximena afford treatment in Bucaramanga

Ximena was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at Bucaramanga University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Ximena is 31, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bucaramanga University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
