Juliet was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in February. The oncology team at Nnewi University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Juliet is 44, worked as a hairdresser until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nnewi University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
