Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Sara in Stockholm
Sara needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $5,000.

I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at the Stockholm Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,000.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $5,000 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $95
• Fitting and training sessions: $330
