Feed 337 families each week at the Harvest Pantry in San Francisco
The the Harvest Pantry pantry in San Francisco is running low just as demand rises; $3,750 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Thursday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 337 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 40% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the San Francisco market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,300
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,500
• Baby formula and diapers: $560
• Refrigeration and electricity: $390
Thanks for reading all this.

Looking forward to the next update. After 8 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Moscow
praying for you. This could happen to any of us. Don't give up
good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
Stay strong, Luke. Hope this works out for you. God bless
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Durgapur.
