Let's build a community garden together in Dublin
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $1,800 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,800.
It will serve about 421 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Tools hire and delivery: $330
• Materials: $1,230

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Fionn
Sure. The biggest one is safety equipment and signage, $240. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
