Khon Kaen
Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Monday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 258 each week. Donations have dropped by about 30% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Khon Kaen market and keep every receipt. Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $650 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $360 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $140 • Baby formula and diapers: $140 • Refrigeration and electricity: $10 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope it all works out, Chatchai. Great idea, hope you get there. We're a small family in Makati but we're thinking of you.
