Feed 247 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Agra
Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Agra.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 247 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Agra market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $270
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $70
• Baby formula and diapers: $85
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
Updates from Madhavan
Thank you all. We're at 13% now ($57). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 13% funded and the plan for refrigeration and electricity is now scheduled.
Small update. $50 so far, we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.

Best of luck, Madhavan. I hope things turn around soon.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Madhavan?
Thank you. If you're in Agra I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Thanks for sharing this, Madhavan. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Flint so I could bring a meal. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 23 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
so sorry you're going through this. Hope this works out for you. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Agra.
