Independence for Kingsley: cochlear implant processor upgrade
Help Kingsley get a cochlear implant processor upgrade so He can attend work interviews.
🇳🇬 Nigeria1,273 views
Kingsley lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Kaduna Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,200.
His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Kingsley could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $45
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $1,135
Thank you for reading my story.

Good luck, Michael. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this, Michael. Hope the doctors have good news. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings!
I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best!
Rooting for you. Hope you get there. Please keep us posted. God bless.
