The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Parma is running low just as demand rises; $1,200 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 243 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 31% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Parma market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $115
• Baby formula and diapers: $300
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $785
