Dieter's kidney cancer treatment fund
Dieter is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Dieter was diagnosed with kidney cancer in May. The oncology team at Berlin Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Dieter is 53, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Berlin Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $1,300
• Transport to Berlin Regional Medical Center: $850
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,800
