Maya called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $120 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Maya is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
