Feed 194 families each week at Open Hands Pantry in Guadalupe
The Open Hands Pantry pantry in Guadalupe is running low just as demand rises; $550 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Thursday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 194 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 52% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Guadalupe market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240
• Refrigeration and electricity: $105
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $205
Thank you so much.

Hang in there, Aarón. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care.
Sending strength, Aarón. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
