Feed 135 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Khulna
Rakib runs a volunteer pantry feeding 135 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 135 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 49% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Khulna market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $270
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $115
• Baby formula and diapers: $50
• Refrigeration and electricity: $65
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rakib
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) is the biggest at $270. Fair thing to want to know.
Keep going, Rakib. Shared it with a few friends. God bless
