Vrushali was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in February. The oncology team at Jalandhar Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Vrushali is 27, worked as a bus conductor until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jalandhar Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
