Fatema's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Fatema won a place at the Bogra Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 10 at the Bogra Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $65
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
Glad we found this place.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Fatema.
It's all in the list in the story. laptop is the big one at $65, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Good question.
Stay strong, Fatema. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care
