Farewell fund for Sumaiya: help Karim's family in Cox's Bazar
After the sudden passing of Sumaiya, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Sumaiya, my grandmother, passed away on 31 July after a sudden heart attack. She was 51 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 18 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sumaiya to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $130
• Transport of the deceased: $75
