Rhea, my wife, passed away on 12 September after a sudden heart attack. She was 25 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 22 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Rhea to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $250 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $85 • Memorial gathering for the family: $55 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $110 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
