Farewell fund for Owen: help Henry's family in Hamilton
Henry lost his uncle suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $3,400.

Owen, my uncle, passed away on 30 January after a stroke. He was 73 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 February.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Owen to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,600
• Transport of the deceased: $370
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,430

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. funeral home services and casket comes first ($1,600) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Happy to explain more.
