Help Carter lay Scarlett to rest with dignity in Laredo
Carter lost his mother suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $5,550.

Scarlett, my mother, passed away on 28 February after a stroke. She was 64 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 March.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Scarlett to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,250
• Transport of the deceased: $300
• Memorial gathering for the family: $450
