Farewell fund for Okechukwu: help Kingsley's family in Lagos
After the sudden passing of Okechukwu, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Okechukwu, my husband, passed away on 23 September after a road accident. He was 80 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 3 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Okechukwu to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Transport of the deceased: $40
• Funeral home services and casket: $510
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $100
