Farewell fund for Gita: help Siti's family in Surabaya
After the sudden passing of Gita, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Gita, my wife, passed away on 22 July after a stroke. She was 74 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $850 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Gita to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $850 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $590
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $200
• Transport of the deceased: $25
• Memorial gathering for the family: $35
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you and your family. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in La Plata this morning. Thinking of Surabaya
Best of luck, Siti. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
Stay strong, Siti. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Ikeja.
