Gemma, my mother, passed away on 7 June after a sudden heart attack. She was 35 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 26 June. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Gemma to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Manila hospice. Where the $600 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $360 • Transport of the deceased: $40 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $200 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Neil
