Aadhya, my grandmother, passed away on 2 January after a short illness. She was 25 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 21 January. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Aadhya to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $750 goes: • Memorial gathering for the family: $50 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $190 • Funeral home services and casket: $510 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Dinesh

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($93 in total) the plan for funeral home services and casket is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 9% now ($68). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for cemetery plot and burial fees is now scheduled.

  • Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dinesh

Memorial gathering for the family is $50 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
