I coordinate donations at the Acacia Mosque in Lagos. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Lagos, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Mosque on Thursday between 10am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I hope life is good to you.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Casablanca
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Pasig!
You're not alone. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
