My sister Samjhana has been accepted for treatment at Bhaktapur Transplant Centre in Bhaktapur, starting on Saturday in November. We live 541 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Samjhana and me. We can contribute $10 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Samjhana will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • best of luck, Kabita. Your post was clear and honest. Love from London

    • Thinking of you and your family. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Bhaktapur.

      • Praying for you, Kabita. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'll check back for the next update. God bless.

        • Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Quezon City so I could bring a meal

          • praying for you, Kabita. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
