Emergency vet bill for Tucker in Tacoma
A senior cat named Tucker needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $2,850 bill the family can't cover.

Tucker is my senior cat of six years. On 30 January we rushed to Tacoma Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,850.
They have stabilized Tucker, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Tucker is more than a pet - Tucker is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $350 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Tacoma Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $2,100
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $230
• Medication and follow-up visits: $210
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $310
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Keep going. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Tacoma.
Shared it with a few friends. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Mumbai.
We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. My neighbor in Red Deer donated after I showed her your page.
