Emergency vet bill for Tucker in Medina
Tucker, Bilal's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $1,350.

Tucker is my rabbit of nine years. On 11 September we rushed to Medina Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,350.
They have stabilized Tucker, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Tucker is more than a pet - Tucker walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Medina Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $790
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $290
• Medication and follow-up visits: $130
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $140
Thanks for being kind about this.
- Bilal

Best of luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Abuja.

Thinking of you and your family, Bilal. This could happen to any of us. All the best.
