Emergency vet bill for Simba in Joliet
Simba, Julian's dog, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $3,000.

Simba is my dog of two years. On 2 June we rushed to Joliet Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $3,000.
They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Simba is more than a pet - Simba walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Joliet Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Simba's recovery.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $780
• Emergency surgery: $2,100
• Medication and follow-up visits: $120
