Emergency vet bill for Poppy in Accra
A dog named Poppy needs emergency surgery - a $150 bill the family can't cover.

Poppy is my dog of three years. On 29 April we rushed to Accra Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $150.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Accra Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Poppy's recovery.
Where the $150 goes:
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $65
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
Thanks for reading all this.
