Emergency vet bill for Ollie in São Paulo
Ollie, Alexandre's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $950.

Ollie is my senior cat of six years. On 17 June we rushed to the São Paulo Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $950.
They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $65 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the São Paulo Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.

• Hospitalization (4 nights): $220
• Medication and follow-up visits: $85
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $125

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. emergency surgery is the biggest at $520. It helps to be asked.
