I make my living with my pickup. 4 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $200 goes: • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $105 • Labor charges: $30 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $20 • Towing and inspection: $45 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Updates from Fatima

  1. 61% there. I made the first payment toward labor charges. Thank you.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 61% funded and I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.

  3. We're at 48% thanks to 2 of you. the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. More news soon.

  • so sorry you're going through this, Fatima. Hope you make a strong comeback. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.

    • So sorry you're going through this. Shared this with my family. After 13 years in public service I know how hard it is to ask for anything.

      • Take care, Fatima. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected

        • Keep going, Fatima. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up.
