Emergency vet bill for Maple in Vitória da Conquista
A tabby kitten named Maple needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $800 bill the family cannot cover.

Maple is my tabby kitten of three years. On 6 September we rushed to Vitória da Conquista Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $800.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple got me through my hardest year. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Vitória da Conquista Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $370
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $260
• Medication and follow-up visits: $115
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
