Start-up fund for Sandeep: reopening a laundry service after a storm that collapsed the roof
Sandeep lost two washing machines and a dryer to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $700 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Aurangabad. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $470
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $70
• Shop repairs and licensing: $85
• Working capital for the first month: $75
I hope life is good to you.
Updates from Sandeep
Good news. Because of your gifts ($50 in total) I made the first payment toward replacing two washing machines and a dryer. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Small update. $200 so far, I made the first payment toward initial stock: detergent and packaging.
