Emergency vet bill for Luna in Kansas City
Please help Isla pay for Luna's emergency treatment at the Kansas City Emergency Vet Clinic.
🇺🇸 Missouri, United States1,747 views
Luna is my German shepherd of nine years. On 28 August we rushed to the Kansas City Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $3,050.
They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Luna is more than a pet - Luna is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $175 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Kansas City Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $2,400
• Medication and follow-up visits: $330
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $320
Thank you so much.
- Isla

You're not alone. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Kisumu.
Thanks for sharing this, Isla. Poor Luna, hope they feel better soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.
