Emergency vet bill for Bruno in Sydney
A German shepherd named Bruno needs emergency surgery - a $2,750 bill the family can't cover.

Bruno is my German shepherd of six years. On 3 August we rushed to the Sydney Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,750.
They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $145 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Sydney Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Bruno's recovery.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $2,050
• Medication and follow-up visits: $170
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $530
Thanks for being kind about this.
- Russell

Rooting for you, Russell. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
