Supporting Edoardo through colon cancer: medication, transport to Salerno University Hospital, and living costs while He can't work.

In July I was diagnosed with colon cancer. My oncology team at Salerno University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 5 weeks away from work. I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 37, I worked as a shop owner until July, and I have been the main earner for my household. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Salerno University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly. My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $7,650 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,250 • Scans and lab work: $590 • Transport to Salerno University Hospital: $670 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $500 • Household costs while unable to work: $640 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Updates from Edoardo

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 49% funded and the plan for household costs while unable to work is now scheduled.

  2. Update from Salerno: I made the first payment toward household costs while unable to work. We're at 16% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
