Donate a coat: Kipchoge is collecting for 35 families
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Cedar Refugee Centre.
🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya489 views
I coordinate donations at Cedar Refugee Centre in Nairobi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Nairobi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Refugee Centre on Saturday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.

I live about 19 km from Nairobi. I can help at the weekend, tell me what you need. Can bring a friend.

Sending love. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Fresno this morning. Thinking of Nairobi.
Good luck. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Lagos
