The electricity account is 3 months behind. Sara received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $600 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair. Sara called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $145 first, which isn't available. The household includes a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. Sara is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
