The water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless I pay $100. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $100 goes: • Gas arrears: $50 • Reconnection and late fees: $10 • Down payment on a payment plan: $40 Glad we found this place. - Hiền

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($27 in total) I met with the utility company and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Update from Cầu Giấy: I made the first payment toward down payment on a payment plan. We're at 22% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
