Divya wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Divya, 74, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $700 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 74. After worsening Parkinson's disease Divya can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Divya desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Divya worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $700 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $470
• Medication and prescriptions: $115
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $45
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $70
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Rohit. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Sending love. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Sending good thoughts, Rohit. Wishing Divya a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Greetings from Kathmandu.
